About the College


The College of Medical Technology is one of the colleges affiliated with Nalut University, which was established on 2/12/2001 under the decision of the Secretary of the People's Committee for the Nalut District (formerly) No. 37 of 2001, in the name of the Department

The Medical Technology at the University of the Falcon of Africa (then known as the University of Departments) and this decision was indeed implemented, as the Medical Technology Department was opened with two branches: the Medical Laboratories Department and the Dental Technology Department.

After the reduction of universities and the merger of the University of the Eagle of Africa (formerly) with the University of the Western Mountain, the college then separated by the decision of the Prime Minister No. 606 of the year 2017, and the decision of the Minister of Education No. 2055 regarding the transfer of affiliation

The college was established without the previous affiliation and was named the College of Medical Technology at Nalut University, which is the name the college still carries today.

Dr. Muftah Khalifa Al-Kilani served as the dean of the college from 2001 to 2010.

Then Dr. Nagy Al-Hadi Aburas took over the management of the college during the period (2010-2012).

Then Professor Mohamed Khalifa Qanah took over the management of the college in 2012.

Professor Akram Saleh Qarqab took over the management of the college in 2013.

Professor Ayman Abdullah Al-Izabi took over the management of the college in 2014.

Professor Mohamed Khalifa Qanah has been serving as the Dean of the College since 2014 to the present.
