About the Department
The Department of Medical Devices and Equipment is one of the newly established departments at Nalut Medical Technology College, founded in the year (2022 – 2023); it aims to be a leading educational and research beacon in the field of medical devices. This department has faced some challenges since its inception, including the lack of permanent faculty to cover most of the department's courses, which has resulted in graduating only one cohort at a time. Additionally, there have been some obstacles in the practical and training aspects.

We are pleased to be one of the supporters and advocates for enhancing the educational process at our esteemed college through this department; which will, in turn, be a scientific and practical addition to this college and the region as a whole, by graduating and introducing the first batch to the job market, which lacks this specialization and needs it greatly. curriculum
The duration of study at the college is a yearly system (four years and six months) as follows
The first year is general, and the remaining three years are specialized. After successfully completing all the courses of the fourth year, the student spends a period of six months dedicated solely to the graduation project and field training (internship).
Two academic years may be added to the duration as a maximum for the student's graduation. The College of Medical Technology grants its graduates a degree in Medical Technology (Bachelor's), and the College Council may propose the establishment of higher academic degrees, such as a higher degree (Master's) or a precise degree (Doctorate) in various specializations after approval by the University Council when the necessary resources are available. The study stages in the department combine theoretical and practical study, where the student studies a set of general and specialized subjects in addition to practical study, where students conduct a series of experiments in the department's laboratories.
