A significant meeting was held this morning, Monday, June 23, 2025, in the conference hall of the College of Medical Technology in Nalut, at the kind invitation of the Faculty Members' Union of the college and its members.
The meeting included the council of the Nalut University Syndicate and the members of the syndicate in the college.
The meeting held an extensive discussion on the rights of faculty members regarding delegation and academic promotions, where the mechanisms of union work and the efforts made by the General Union and the Nalut University Union to improve members' rights were reviewed.
Professor Miloud Zakaria Al-Azabi, the head of the faculty members' union at Nalut University, emphasized during the meeting that members have rights accompanied by duties that must be adhered to, stressing the importance of balancing rights and duties to ensure the effective continuation of academic union work. The meeting concluded with the establishment of a follow-up mechanism for union and academic work topics at all levels, aimed at enhancing communication and monitoring to ensure the fulfillment of members' demands and the improvement of their professional conditions.
This meeting comes as part of the ongoing efforts made by the Faculty Members' Union at Nalut University to develop union work and improve the academic work environment, ensuring the rights of faculty members and enhancing the level of scientific performance within the university. It also reflects the cooperation between the college union and the general union, demonstrating both parties' commitment to supporting members and continuously and systematically addressing their issues.
