It is published by the Libyan Society for Food and Nutrition under the management of specialists and professionals in the fields of food and nutrition (including academics, researchers, engineers, and nutritionists).
And it is considered The journal is the result of the hard work of many professors and researchers at the First International Conference on Food and Nutrition, in their attempt to achieve a qualitative addition to studies and research in Libya and to assist researchers in publishing their research and studies, as well as working on marketing them through media, so that the largest number of interested individuals can benefit from them.
The researchers from various Libyan universities enriched the journal with their scientific contributions, which were subjected to peer review and the best among them selected for publication. The studies covered areas such as food and nutrition, among others. Additionally, a group of professors from different scientific fields, affiliated with various Libyan universities, contributed to the editing of the journal and the review of the articles.
It is mentioned that the doctor Naji Al-Hadi Abouars Member of the faculty at the College of Medical Technology at Nalut University, Chair of the Scientific Committee for the First International Conference on Food and Nutrition, and a member of the review and auditing committee for the first issue of the journal.
He participated with his colleague, the professor. Najee Saleh Wargh Faculty member at the College of Medical Technology at Nalut University with a research paper in the journal titled: Assessment of the level of awareness in the university community regarding fried foods and the risks of repeatedly using frying oils.
